Sundays
We have two Sunday services each week.  At  8am a small gathering shares a simple, spoken Eucharist (Holy Communion) and at 10:00 am we celebrate sung, contemporary Eucharist followed by a time of fellowship.

Mid Week

Our Community Life:   Sharing and Laughing in Love
Fellowship at St. Faith’s is a constant.  Throughout the year the women and men host breakfast groups on Sunday mornings and we have Café Caritas with seniors and friends 4 - 5 times a year.  We join together for picnics, pot luck dinners, and various events that mark the seasons, including Outreach fund-raisers in June, early fall, Halloween and Christmas.

Learning: St. Faith’s is committed to providing opportunities to explore our faith and understanding of God.  We have a regular series of education and bible studies and an annual Lenten series.  On Monday nights St. Faith’s is pleased to host Education for Ministry (EFM), a program of in-depth theological study.

Reaching beyond our own needs is an important part of who we are:
Many of our people are active volunteers in the community and we are proud of the ways they take the compassion of Christ into the world and share God’s love with people who are marginalized, lonely or suffering.

Generosity has been a characteristic of this congregation, marked by faithful giving to a variety of agencies: Leave Out Violence (LOVe) for helping troubled youth;  Young Wolves Lodge; the seafolk who visit our ports; Community meals at St. Mary’s Kerrisdale and St. Augustine’s Marpole; the Vancouver Food Bank; the Vancouver Hospice Society for end-of-life care; the Grief Recovery Society; A.S.K Friendship Centre; Camp Artaban; St. Jude’s Home and the Pumpkin Seed quilters who make quilts for women’s shelters and the Children’s Hospital.

We are pleased that our beautiful Church serves as a home for many wonderful community organizations:

  • Stepping Stone Preschool (http://www.steppingstonepreschool.org/)
  • Pumpkin Seeds Quilters
  • Vancouver Quilters Guild
  • Special Olympics (see our photo page)
  • Essonance Chamber Choir
  • Kerrisdale Toastmasters
  • Marpole Alcoholics Anonymous (see Helpful Links)
  • Christ Church Cathedral Healing Ministry
  • And many music recitals.
