On Sunday November 6th Bill Robinson from St. Faith's received the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster. The Order is given to "those amongst us who have given extraordinary service, leadership, wisdom and committed ministry to God’s mission in the world". Special Olympics at St. Faiths Active Start is a Special Olympics program for children 2 to 6 years of age who have an intellectual disability and their families. It is an opportunity for very young Special Olympics athletes to participate in a program to improve gross motor skills and to interact with other children in an encouraging environment lead by Special Olympic coaches. It is held from 3 to 4 pm on most Sundays in September, October, November and December at St Faith’s Church. Spring 2012 dates to be announced. To join, parents should go to their website and contact the Registration Coordinator.
